Cookies and browser storage

Storage used by the current site, and what clearing it does.

Necessary sign-in cookies

NextAuth uses cookies for your sign-in session and authentication protections, including CSRF protection and sign-in redirects. These are necessary to use authenticated account features. Blocking them may prevent sign-in or disrupt your session. Browser cookie controls let you inspect and remove cookies; signing out ends the active site session.

Checkout retry storage

Checkout uses sessionStorage in your browser tab to preserve a pending checkout payload and retry key under an account-specific inzu-checkout key. This includes contact name, phone, shipping address and selected payment method, so a reload or lost response can retry the same attempt instead of creating a duplicate order.

This pending entry is removed after the checkout flow receives a successful order or payment redirect. A failed attempt may leave the entry available for retry. You can clear site storage in your browser; doing so may remove that retry protection. sessionStorage normally ends when the tab session ends, but browser session restore behavior can vary.

Scans and carts

The active scan and cart stores use browser memory, not persistent localStorage for those contents. The scan store also removes an older inzu-scan-storage entry when loaded. Signed-in carts and saved scans can still exist in the database, independently of browser storage.

What we observed, not a blanket guarantee

No optional analytics or advertising trackers were observed in the current application code reviewed for this notice. This is a description of that code, not a guarantee about every deployed environment, hosting service or external destination. Google Gemini processing and hosted payment services have their own practices; clearing our cookies does not delete data already sent to them.
